If you are looking for a charming, clean and centrally located place to stay in Beziers, Gerard’s apartment is the place for you. Gerard’s communication prior to our arrival was prompt and helpful, the flat was spotless, and there were beers and rose in the fridge when we arrived!

What a fantastic apartment. hard to bring it all down into a short review but here goes. Before booking: Gerard got in touch in plenty of time with a great information package. Check in: Corrine was brilliant (even putting up with my attempts at French) and could not have been more helpful. Cleanliness: The apartment was spotles
sly clean. Furnishing and facilities: What attracted us to this apartment in the first place and they didn’t disappoint. There were plenty of homely and very thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly welcome. My favourite room was the well equipped kitchen that makes so much difference and allows you to cook using the wonderful produce available in France. Location: Perfect! Admittedly it’s a steep hill to the main square but you’re just a few tens of metres from La Charniere bar/restaurant and the Allee Paul Richet in one direction. Turn left and you’re about 100metres from the old market square leading to both cathedral and Les Halles. A first class location from which to explore Beziers. Limitations: There are 55 stairs and no elevator to the apartment so it’s not good if you’re not fit or have mobility issues. But hey, there are plenty of lovely bars and cafes nearby and it gives you an excuse to sit down for some refreshment! Finally: A huge thank you to Gerard and Corrine. We had a fantastic break in Beziers and our choice of accommodation could not have been better. Here’s to next year.

I booked Gérard’s place last minute. What luck. So central, beautifully renovated/decorated and yet peaceful. Corine the housekeeper was exceedingly friendly, helpful and at the end of a phone if required. Being on the fourth floor was no negative for me, it just meant I walked off a few of the holiday calories I highly recommend this apartment. Many thanks Gérard

Beziers is a charming city with many wonderful day trips within an hours drive. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and well maintained by Corine. Booking was seamless and Gerard the owner was very helpful and accommodating about arrival times.

The apartment is bright and comfortable. it is well furnished and equipped with everything one needs for an enjoyable visit.It is conveniently situated close to the city centre. We had an extremely warm weclome and explanation of the local area from the housekeeper, who was then only a phone call away if we needed anything. The flat was in the perfect location – very central and still a quiet street! The flat was right next to the train station and ony a short walk from the bus station. The kitchen was very well stocked and the flat had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

An ideal city centre location for exploring Beziers, near to restaurants, bars, shops, etc. The apartment lived up to its description, was very comfortable and well-equipped. The air con in the upstairs bedroom was very welcome during the hot spell when we were there.

Nous étions 4 adultes et l’appartement est comme annoncé : spacieux , confortable et très correctement équipé ; la très grande chambre-bureau du rez-de-chaussée a parfaitement convenu à nos deux enfants , chacun ayant son espace nuit! Il est idéalement situé au centre ville dans un quartier cosy, très agréable et grand luxe « au calme »! ( bien que la place soit en travaux en ce moment, nous n’avons eu aucun souci à trouver une place pour nous garer) . Une fois la voiture garée , nous avons tout fait à pied! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la grande gentillesse et disponibilité de Corine qui a assuré le check in et check out.

Charming and comfortable indeed. Very comfortable apartment in a fantastic location – had absolutely everything we needed. Old building on the main square of Béziers. The title is accurate. Charming and comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and timely. The housekeeper was efficient and friendly. Beds were comfy and everything spotless. The decor might be dated but it s an old building so the style suits and dont let that put you off. There were some lovely welcome touches – juice and water and a bottle of wine, which were much appreciated as we arrived at 8.30 pm. There were lovely decorative touches too – stained glass windows etc. It is very cosy but also spacious. Lots of eateries and several shops close by. We self catered half the time and loved that freedom. Would return in a heartbeat and hope to next year. Great stay. Would highly recommend.
